(Automatic EFT drafts only) You can set the number of consecutive declined payments before cancellation, to align with your business’s specific needs.
See how to manually cancel an EFT here: https://tan-link.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/31081635841165-How-to-cancel-an-EFT-Membership
Redraft attempts that are declined do not add to the number of declines for autocancel. Only Monthly drafts are counted. When a redraft attempt is successful, or when a past-due balance is paid, the number of declines is reset.

How to prevent an account from being canceled.
Successful redrafts and past-due payments.
A successful redraft or payment for the past due amount resets the decline count back to the original # of attempts.
A successful redraft or Past-due payment does not automatically remove the autocancel date once it's been set on the account.
If the number of declines required for the system to set a cancel date has been reached, the cancel date will not be removed by a successful redraft or past-due payment. If an account was set for cancellation and you want to retain this customer, the cancel date needs to be manually removed. Even if the owed balance is paid.
