The online appointment feature allows you to text a link to a customer, embed the appointments page on your website, or use the online store/TLApp for customers to book any equipment you allow appointments for.
Your appointment link will be: https://sitename.tan-link.com/appt.php
The site name above must be replaced with your site name, e.g. https://mysalon.tan-link.com/appt.php
If enabled on your site, the appointment page can be placed in your Tan-Link online store for customers to visit the /shop site and have access to book appointments in the same place. See this article for detailed steps: https://tan-link.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042574511-How-to-Add-your-Online-Booking-Link-to-your-Online-Store
To set it up, first, go to General Settings > General Settings and search for Online Appointments. This will bring up all the relevant options to set up colors, appointment times, confirmation text, employee notifications etc.
Appointments for New and Existing customers
For existing customers booking online, the system will find the account where the phone number matches and Tan-Link will create the appointment on their account.
When new customers book online, a new account will be created with the name and phone number they provided. The appointment is added to the new account.
This is an excellent way to get new leads in, once the customer enters and verifies the number, you can search for them in the SMS log even if they don't complete the appointment request.
Rooms and Services for Online Appointments
Go to General Settings > Equipment > Update Beds/Rooms to configure Online Appointment settings for each room to be displayed online for customers to book. These apply to both online bookings and Service appointments.
If you need to add a new Room/Equipment please review this guide:

Online Reserved Under:
This is the name that will show online for customers to book. If no name is added here, the bed will not be displayed online for customers to book appointments.
For each equipment you allow appointments for, you can specify a name under the Online Reserved Under option. If you don't want equipment to be listed in the reservations, clear out that option completely.
Reservation Length (Minutes):
This is the default time slot that will be reserved per customer booking.
ChatBot Waiting List Name:
If you have the TL Bot enabled with the Checkin feature, you can add the name to display to customers online here.
2/24-Hour Appointment Reminder Text:
Please contact support to enable appointment reminders. Tan-Link can send appointment reminders for either 24 hours or 2 hours prior to an appointment. You may enable one or the other or you can activate both.
To enable these reminders, you need to type in your text reminder verbiage in the boxes. An automatic SMS will be sent to your customers to remind them of their appointment.
Tan-Link also allows you to configure rooms for staff Service appointments.
See our guide below for more info.

Blocking appointments for a specific day or date range
Currently, Tan-link offers you the option to block all beds during certain times to not be booked.
You can do this by going to General Settings >General Settings > search "Appointment Block" under Headings
Enter both the Start and End date and time for the period you would like blocked.
Keep in mind when a customer/staff attempts to request an appointment for the date, they will still be |able to select the date on the calendar, yet it will prompt a message stating "Sorry, an appointment is not available at the time".
Please message support to avoid double booking of ONLINE sessions only.
Integration of Tan-Link Appointments on my Website
You can integrate the appointments module on your website to allow the customers to easily book an appointment Website Integration depends on how your website is built, and you may need a developer to do this for you.
You will need to embed the link using the following HTML on the webpage you want to show the appointments on.
<iframe src="<your appointment link>" width=2000 height=800 frameborder=0 scrolling=no></iframe>
In the above example, replace <your appointment link> to the the appointment link, e.g.
<iframe src="https://mysalon.tan-link.com/appt.php" width=2000 height=800 frameborder=0 scrolling=no></iframe>
Once this is done, you should be able to accept online appointments. If you have set an employee to be notified when an appointment is requested, make sure to put a name for that option.
