Setting up your online store through Tan-Link is easy. Start by going to Products > Add or Update Products and search for the product that you want to be listed in your online store. Make sure you have everything updated as normal, including price, charging tax, cost, commission (if any), and stock.
Under the name of the product, you will see Edit Description, add the description of your product, and how you would like your online customer to see it.
In this example, we made fonts larger, used bullet points, and changed font color for important information to stand out:
Make sure you change Available Online to Yes by clicking on the corresponding Radio button.
Lastly, for the Online Store Image, you can upload a photo of your choice. Make sure your Product image is resized to 350x350 so that your store does not skew your images on your online store.
We suggest using ResizeImage.net or PicMonkey.com to resize and edit your images.
Upload your image by clicking the Browse button and locating the image file.
Click Update Product to save the changes.
You should then be able to go to your store, which will be https://yoursalon.tan-link.com/shop, and your online product will be listed. All products are listed in alphabetical order.
You can set up yourself or your manager to receive a text to their phone about when a product is purchased online.
Online product sales will also automatically update inventory in your Tan-Link system.
