Initial Setup
From the tablet, go to Wi-Fi Settings and make sure the tablet is connected to your store's WI-FI.
The same network as the main computer at the salon. Both, tablets and Tmax computer need to be on the same network since this is how the computer connects to the tablet.
Once connected, open the internet browser on the tablet and open the following link:
Tablet 1: https://SITENAME.tan-link.com/mobilepdf.php
Tablet 2: https://SITENAME.tan-link.com/mobilepdf.php?tablet=2
Replace <sitename> with your salon's name.

When pulled, you should see a screen similar to this once connected:
On your Tmax computer, go to http://whatismyip.host
The numbers on the website should match the Public IP numbers on the tablet.
This indicates that they are on the same network. If the numbers do not match, then your tablet is not connected to the same network and will not populate agreements or CC signatures.
IMPORTANT
Before you make any transactions on the tablet, please make sure that the number shown on your computer on the home icon matches the number on the tablet, in this example, it's 17.
This will prevent any future issues.
Only one computer can connect to one tablet at a time.
Before completing a sale or agreement signature, please make sure the tablet icon on the top of a customer's page is green. This indicates that this computer is currently connected to the tablet.
If the icon is red, please click on the icon so it connects to the tablet. It will display in green once connected. Once the tablet is connected, agreements and payments will show up as you do transactions.
Enable Second Tablet
Tan-Link will allow the use of two tablets connecting to two separate computers. The second tablet feature will only be required if there is a second computer at the salon. Please message support if you already have a second computer at the salon and wish to have a 2nd tablet.
When the 2nd tablet is enabled, you will now see two tablet icons on the top of the customer's screen.
Only one tablet should connect to each computer. If both tablet icons are green on a customer’s account, the last tablet clicked is the one that will be connected to the computer.

- Left icon: This should connect to the LEFT tablet.

The right icon Should only connect to the RIGHT tablet.
When using 2 tablets, please ensure the correct tablet icon was clicked on the computer and that the correct links are used on each tablet.
How Can I Take advantage of other tablets at the salon if I don't have a second computer?
You can use any iPad or mobile device to log into Tan-Link to set customers in beds or create new customers as long as the device is using this link. https://salonname.tan-link.com
We recommend keeping one tablet for payments and agreements only while other tablets can be multipurpose.
A tablet can be used at the salon for payments and agreements while other devices at the salon can be used for customer self-enrolling with this link: https://salonname.tan-link.com/Kiosk.php
