New Customer Kiosk Signup
To allow new customers to sign up from a tablet or self-service device, you can bookmark the following link on the device's browser and pull it when a customer needs to create an account.
http://SITENAME.tan-link.com/Kiosk.php
Replace sitename above with your salon name.
The link will only work if the tablet is connected to the same internet network as your salon computer. (notice that 'K' is capital on Kiosk.php)
The new customer signup page will allow visitors to create a new customer account using their contact info so they can start their first purchase right away.
Profile Builder
If Profile Builder is enabled, a new screen displays asking them to answer the Profile questions.
Those questions are previously entered on your end and can include a variety of options.
To add and edit your list of questions, go to General Settings > Edit Kiosk Questions.
After you have adjusted your questions, you can preview the profile questions by going to General Settings > Preview Kiosk Questions
Once a profile is completed on signup, a confirmation message will display.
Also, an avatar icon will display on the customer's screen next to their account ID under the name and their answers will be added to their accounts. You can click on this icon to review customer's responses.
Existing customers will not be able to answer Profile Builder questions as this is only available as new customers create an account from the iPad.
The new TL Assist Kiosk feature includes an option to update existing customers' questionnaires.
