If you have more than one location, and the stock is received at one location (warehouse, office, corporate) to be distributed and shipped to the other locations, you can log and track stock distribution to ensure that the right items and quantities are received at the proper locations.
You will need to log in and select the location where the stock is being moved from in order for inventory to display the correct information.
Then go to > Products > Update Stock or Place Order
Search for the product you need to move and then use the Move Stock button to move stock from one location to another.
In the new window that appears, you will specify how many you are moving or shipping and to which location.
The stock will be removed from the original location but will not be added to the stock at the receiving location yet.
Once the stock has been physically received at that location, the staff can go to Staff > Receive Stock and search for the product or supplies by name or UPC.
Once the product has been scanned/entered, they can click on Add To Stock.
This step will add the product to the inventory at that location.
If you have 12 of an item to add, you will have to scan or enter the UPC to add it 12 times.
Once scanned, a quantity of "1" will show as added to inventory at the location they are logged into.
Please note that this process will remove the stock from the current location but it will not add it to the selected location until it's received by the staff and Inventory will be off as there are items in Shipped status until received. Once received at the expected location, the stock will match at both locations.
In order to receive stock, the staff at the expected location will go to Staff > Receive Stock.
Here they can search a product by name or scan the UPC to log what was received.
Please note that the stock that was moved will remain in shipping status until it has been received.
Upon receiving stock, the quantity is updated at the destination location completing the move.
You can review and track any stock moves under Products > View Stock History.
Here you will see the shipping and receiving activity.
Please review the guide below on how to track stock that has already been shipped.

An employee can be set to receive a report at the end of the day if there are any errors on the shipping or receiving end, the wrong item was sent or received, the wrong quantity was sent or received, or if the location was not correct.
Please go to General Settings > Edit Automatic Reports and select the Stock Move Error Report.
Then click on Change and add the login name of the person who will receive the report.
This report will show any stock that has been sent and not received or was received but never sent indicating an issue.
