Make sure the SIP phone is connected to the power source and the internet router using an Ethernet cord.
If an Ethernet port is available on the computer, the computer can use an Ethernet cord to connect to the SIP phone. You can bridge the internet connection using the SIP phone by using an ethernet cord to connect the computer to the SIP phone and the SIP phone to the Internet Router.
The computer will access the network through the SIP phone as it will act as a bridge and provide the computer with the internet connection required for both devices to work.
1) Plug the Ethernet cable coming from the router into the "Network" port on the SIP phone.
Use the Manufacturer supplied Ethernet cable or use the recommended cord if you need a larger cord. https://a.co/d/ezdkg7D
2) Connect an Ethernet cable from your desktop computer to the access port on the IP phone.
3) Connect the SIP phone to the computer using an Ethernet cord.
Make sure you are connecting the ethernet cable to the corresponding port. Most phones have labeled the ports to indicate which belongs to the internet and which to the computer.
Once both devices are on and the internet is working, please contact support to complete the SIP phone IP setup. You will need to provide the phone IP address for support to complete the setup.
You can follow these instructions to obtain the Phone's IP address (Cisco):
-Press the SETUP key on the phone screen.
-Go to SETTINGS> NETWORK and write down the IP address of the phone.
(It should be a number starting with 192)
Note down the IP address and respond to the corresponding support ticket.
