At times you may need to adjust a draft amount or date as opposed to issuing a refund.
The concern here is that one will forget to return the draft to the original amount, and then the customer will continue to draft a reduced payment.*
Tan-Link has two ways to avoid this and to ensure that the draft resumes its normal amount when it should.
Option 1: Scroll down to the bottom of the Membership Details tab.
Click on MORE DETAILS underneath the Customer's Name. Then click on Account Details/History.
Scroll down to the bottom until you see the following.
Underneath the Effective Date, you will need to enter the DATE PRIOR TO THE DATE THE CUSTOMER WILL DRAFT.
It MUST be the date prior in order to allow changes to become effective before they draft.
Then you will enter the full amount to be charged the day after and hit ENTER on your keyboard to save your changes.
Option 2: You can set Account Reminders for yourself on a Customer's Account.
When these are set, you will receive a sticky note on the date you specify with the action you need to perform.
To set it, go to Customer's Account > More Details > Accounts Details/History > Membership Details. Scroll down until you see the following:
In this box, you will enter a message using the exact same format as it's shown in the example below:
**Make sure you Press the ENTER key to save your reminder note.
For example, if you enter: Remind me on 4/1/2020 to change the draft amount back to $52.00, you will see the following and receive a sticky note on 4/1/2020.
