The customer navigation bar allows you to take actions on a customer account.
Home button will take you back to the main screen.
Member Account button will take you back to this customer's account if you want to cancel an action and go to their account.
The Account Changes menu item allows you to take actions on the customer's account based on their profile. You may see some or all of these options depending on your employee access level and the customer's status (Member or Walk-in).
The Find Member search box is present to go from this account to another account directly without going back to the main screen.
The Sell Box
The Sell box is where you can search for any product or packages that can be sold to this customer. You can use the "search terms" setup in your packages, the names of products, or you can scan UPC code directly in this box to find by UPC code.
Searching by UPC code is the best way to find products as many are named similar.
If you are searching by a product name, the best way to search is by using partial names. For example, if the product is called 'DS Miss Designer', any of these searches will pull up the product: miss, design, ds miss etc.
There is a Forward Icon on every customers account to the right of the SELL BOX. You can use this icon to send a message to other staff members about this customer. These messages are then recorded in the customer's Sticky Notes section which can be viewed by going to Customer Account > More Details > Account Details/History > Sticky Notes as shown below.
When a message is sent using this icon, you do not need to provide the staff member with account details as the account is linked to the message. They will be able to click on the message and open the account from there.
Connect to Tablet
Any time you are collecting payment by credit card or if the member is signing an agreement, this icon must be green. If it is red as shown, you must click on it to connect the iPad to this computer. Best practice is to turn the icon GREEN in the mornings when the salon is opened. It will stay GREEN unless the computer shuts down or is shut down for some reason. In this case when the computer reboots it will need to be turned GREEN again. The last computer to click the tablet icon GREEN has control of the iPad.
