EFTs, Walkin Session and Minute packages can be shared between families and friends.
The package is sold on the primary member’s account and then shared with the other member.
EFTs
When sharing an EFT package, an unlimited number of shares is allowed. There is an option that automatically deletes the shared package from the shared account if the main account is past due. To enable this option for your site, you can reach out to support.
If an EFT is being set on a freeze, please make sure to unshare the EFT package before starting the freeze membership. Once the freeze is over and the membership is restored, you can proceed to share the EFT package again. Automatic EFT sharing removal occurs only for EFT cancellations.
To allow an EFT package to be shared, go to General Settings > General Settings > search "Share" under Headings.
Here, you will find a heading for Membership IDs:
Select this option to add the IDs of the EFTs you would like to share.
Input the Membership IDs that you would like to share in the Settings field separated by a comma.
Locate the Membership ID by going to Packages > Update Packages and viewing the numbers on the left side panel.
Once set up, you can go to a customer's page and a SHARE option will appear if they have an EFT that you have allowed sharing for.
Click SHARE then enter the shared customer's name then click Search > Select the customer's name then click [SHARE WITH THIS ACCOUNT].
Once an EFT is shared, you will see it appear on both the customer and the shared customer's account:
Walkin Sessions and Minutes
Walkin Sessions and Minutes can be shared between customers.
To enable this feature, please contact support.
Once enabled, go to General Settings > search "Sharing" in Headings> Select the option> Allow Package Sharing > Adjust the Setting to "1" then Save.
Now a SHARE button will appear under all Walkin Session and Minute packages.
Walkin packages may only be shared between TWO accounts. To set this up, go to the account that the package was sold under. Under the package, you will see a SHARE button.
Once you click the SHARE button, it will pop up asking you to enter the full/ exact Account ID of the customer to share the package with. It is best if you copy and paste the Account ID then click Share.
When it has been shared, you will be able to see on both accounts who the package is being shared between, and Tan-Link will automatically deduct the sessions once used under both accounts.
Under the main account that purchased the sessions, you will have the option to remove the other account by clicking the trash can next to the account name.
